Proposed antithrombotic strategy for acute ischemic stroke with large-artery atherosclerosis: focus on patients with high-risk transient ischemic attack and mild-to-moderate stroke %K %X An effective antithrombotic strategy is required to prevent the recurrence and aggravation of large-artery atherosclerosis (LAA) stroke, especially in high-risk transient ischemic attack (TIA) and acute mild ischemic stroke. Based on clinical evidence, atherosclerotic thrombosis theory, antithrombotic treatment guidelines of acute myocardial infarction (AMI), and previous studies, a new antithrombotic strategy “early administration, enhanced therapy, combination therapy, short-term therapy, and sequential therapy” was proposed in this study. Multicenter randomized trials are needed in the future to verify the efficacy of the strategy. %U https://atm.amegroups.org/article/view/32259 %V 8 %N 1 %P 16 %@ 2305-5847
