In the past years, we have learned a great deal with regards to techniques and technologies related to adult reconstruction. Innovative approaches and strategies to arthroplasty continue to evolve, even though many critical principles remain the same. Providing the optimal care for our patients requires a balance between an understanding of the basic principles and scientific basis of adult reconstruction and a proficiency in the skills needed to master the performance of the surgery and deal with its complications.
We invite investigators to contribute original articles as well as review articles that will stimulate the continuing efforts to understand the principles related to adult reconstruction, the development of strategies to treat bone and joint conditions, and the evaluation of outcomes.
We are particularly interested in articles describing outcomes from clinical trials; advances in adults reconstruction; new insights into material; current concepts in the treatment bone and joint disease, and strategies for preventing complications.
Potential topics include, but not limited to:
- Recent developments in adult reconstruction,
- clinical trials
- Advances in mechanism of osteolysis
- Epidemiologic studies for bone and joint disease
- New surgical approaches
- Epidemiologic studies for bone and joint disease
- Managing complications after adult reconstruction
