Jianquan Chen, PhD

Prof. Chen was born on October the 7th, 1968. He has received his bachelor (1994) and master (1997) degree at College of Veterinary Medicine, Yangzhou University and further acquired his PhD degree (2007) in the specialization of Biology and Biological Engineering at Tongji University. He currently serves as Director of the Central Laboratory, the Affiliated Jiangning Hospital with Nanjing Medical University and Part-time Professor of Jiangsu University and Yangzhou University. He is also the Editorial Board Member of Acta Laboratorium Animalis Scientia Sinica and Chinese Journal of Laboratory Animal Science.

Prof. Chen’s research focuses on the development of ovary (follicle) and infertility, basic and application research of transgenic and cloned animal. He has published more than 100 research articles and applied 26 patents (16 authorized). Prof. Chen has received the support of Shanghai Science and Technology Development fund. He has also been awarded with the outstanding academic leader of Shanghai and international award of Japanese Association for Laboratory Animal Science.
