Dr. Yuhui Fan is now a PhD student works at Department of Gastroenterology, Internal Medicine II, Klinikum rechts der Isar, Technische Universität München (TUM), Germany. Her current research mainly focus on the molecular mechanism of pancreatic cancer and pancreatic chronic inflammation; the metabolic mechanism of pancreatic cancer and the interaction with the immune system;mechanisms of aseptic inflammation and fibrosis in pancreas and bile ducts. Her research team mainly use transgenic mice to conduct in-depth research on the pathogenesis of pancreatic cancer, which has excellent research background, and outstanding academic achievements.They published several high level papers in recent years such as Nature medicine, Nature genetics, Cancer cell, Gastroenterology and so on.
She obtained her master’s degree in Tongji Hospital, Huazhong University of Science and Technology,China. She mainly focused on the pathogenesis of liver cancer and liver fibrosis.After three years of postgraduate research training, she published five SCI papers, one of which was selected as the current magazine cover (First author, Lab Invest. 2019 Jan;99(1):17-36),and applied for one patent, one project (ministerial level), participated in three National Nature Science Foundation of China (NSFC) projects. She was awarded Graduate National Scholarship and Outstanding Graduates during her master degree. She is a self-motivated and creative thinker, a fast learner and a good collaborator with good good communication and writing skills.
