Towards a cure for Fibrodysplasia ossificans progressiva
Abstract
The formation of new bones at extra skeletal sites, named heterotopic ossification (HO), is a common post-operative complication upon orthopedic surgeries (i.e., hip replacements), blast injuries, skeletal trauma and some nervous system disorders.
