The paper “CircRASSF2 promotes IGF1R and osteosarcoma metastasis via sponging miR-6838-5p” (doi: 10.21037/atm-21-6123) published in Annals of Translational Medicine in Vol 10, No 1 (January 15, 2022) (1) has been retracted at the request of the authors. We have carefully checked the original data and found some deficiency should be replenished including animal experiments and chromatin immunoprecipitation to further validate the mechanism of the circRASSF2/miR-6838-5p/IGF1R axis. These shortcomings may influence the reliability and integrity of results in current study. Hence, based on our responsible attitude towards the editorial board and readers, we have decided to retract this article after discussion. All authors agree with the retraction of the paper. We are sorry for the inconvenience caused.
