Erratum to factors associated with 30-day mortality after perioperative cardiac arrest in adults undergoing non-cardiac surgery: a seven-year observational study from Siriraj Hospital
Erratum to: Ann Transl Med 2023;11:342.
This article (1) titled “Factors associated with 30-day mortality after perioperative cardiac arrest in adults undergoing non-cardiac surgery: a seven-year observational study from Siriraj Hospital” (doi: 10.21037/atm-23-762), unfortunately contains an error in the IRB protocol number provided in the Study design and participants section of Methods in the main text, and in the Ethical Statement of the Footnote. The paper inaccurately cites “No. SI 126/2565” as the protocol number, whereas the correct designation is “COA No. Si 321/2022”. The corrections are presented below.
In the Study design and participants section of Methods
The first sentence “This retrospective cohort study conducted at Siriraj Hospital, a tertiary care hospital in Bangkok, Thailand. It was approved by the Ethics Committee on Human Research, Faculty of Medicine, Siriraj Hospital (No. SI126/2565) and registered under the Thai Clinical Trials Registry (No. TCTR20220329004, thaiclinicaltrials.org) on the 28th of March 2022.” should be corrected to “This retrospective cohort study conducted at Siriraj Hospital, a tertiary care hospital in Bangkok, Thailand. It was approved by the Ethics Committee on Human Research, Faculty of Medicine, Siriraj Hospital (COA No. Si 321/2022) and registered under the Thai Clinical Trials Registry (No. TCTR20220329004, thaiclinicaltrials.org) on the 28th of March 2022.”
In the Ethical Statement section of Footnote
The second sentence “The study was conducted in accordance with the Declaration of Helsinki (as revised in 2013) and approved by the Ethics Committee on Human Research, Faculty of Medicine, Siriraj Hospital (No. SI126/2565).” should be corrected to “The study was conducted in accordance with the Declaration of Helsinki (as revised in 2013) and approved by the Ethics Committee on Human Research, Faculty of Medicine, Siriraj Hospital (COA No. Si 321/2022).”
The authors apologize for the oversight.
