Tumor modeling maintains diverse pathology in vitro

Abstract

Ovarian cancers present with clinical, molecular, and genetic heterogeneity. The diversity of ovarian tumors can be illustrated by the assortment of histological subtypes, sites of origin of the primary and metastatic lesions, and cellular makeup found within each patient.
