Preface

As we approach the end of the second decade after its introduction into clinical practice, capsule endoscopy has become a first line small bowel investigative tool, it is being used to image other areas of the gastrointestinal tract and studies of how to add further diagnostic, biopsy and therapeutic tools are underway. This reflects the desire of patients and their doctors to make investigation as comfortable, safe and effective as possible.
